Book your reservation! We have frequented Teddy Wongs on multiple occasions and have not been disappointed. Really great option added to the Fort Worth food scene and love dining here with our friends and family. I docked Teddy Wongs one star due to the fact that the food consistently comes out at different times. We understand this practice is due to the high heat and quick cooking techniques but it would be more enjoyable if ALL appetizers would be delivered at the same time. . . followed by all main course dishes be delivered at one time. Instead they unfortunately just bring items out as they're cooked, which are most of the time out of order. If they could work on the delivery of the dishes ordered, my rating would change to a perfect 5-stars. I highly suggest making a couple of future reservations, you'll be delighted to dine here. Parking can be scarce so show up with plenty of time, prior to your reservation, to find parking-- should their small parking lot be full.

Found this place on yelp. My husband and I visiting from Las Vegas. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I recommend the soup dumplings and hot oil wontons. The noodles were flavorful and filling. The staff was kind and the restaurant was clean. Happy Hour Mon-Fri 2pm-5pm $2 off all dumplings, All Draft Beer $2 in the 2pm hour, $3 in the 3pm hour, and $4 in the 4pm hour. Go check this place out.

I've eaten at Teddy Wong's on two occasions, once during a lunch rush, and another time take out. I will say off the bat that I have been waiting for food like this to come to Fort Worth. I always have to drive out of town when I have the craving, but no more! The dumplings are solid, and so is the rest of the menu. This is a good spot if you want to drop in for dumplings, or if you want to get the classic Chinese takeout. (Tip from the team there; apparently it's cheaper to call in an order than utilize the third-party online ordering system)

We had our first opportunity to visit Teddy Wongs this week after reading about it since they opened. It did not disappoint! We went at lunch and sat at the bar. The service was great and the recommendations from the bar staff were spot on. We started with the Hot Oil Wantons which were amazing! The sauce and spices were really special. Next up was the Fried Shrimp Balls which are a bit hard to describe but out of this world in flavor. We had the Mongolian beef entree which we might not have ordinarily ordered except for the bartender's glowing endorsement. It was plenty for two people and maybe the best Asian dish we've ever had. Finally we had the amazing wontons filled with chocolate ganache and served with raspberry sauce. One per person was plenty of this sinful delight.

We heard about this place and couldn't wait to try it. We went around 11 on Saturday and it wasn't busy - it got busier as we were there but I'm sure it's busiest at dinner time. We ordered the hot oil wontons, fried rice and Mongolian beef. It was all so good. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and all the tables were set with wine glasses and water glasses. The bar is at the back and they have the coolest wine glass cleaner or At least that's what i thought it was. Our wait staff was very attentive. We ate until we were stuffed then took home leftovers. It was plenty of food for my husband, my son and myself between the appetizer the fried rice and the main entree. We have already planned our trip back. Bonus - if you are into Pokémon Go it's also a Pokestop so we stocked up on some items too.

So glad that we finally have a solid Chinese restaurant in the area! I've eaten at many XLB restaurants and do wish that the portion was bigger than 4 pcs, but it was still good nonetheless. The fried rice was great and I also loved the wontons. The wine pairings were also a great plus.

My wife and I recently had dinner at Teddy Wong's, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. For appetizers, she opted for the spicy cucumber salad, and I had the BBQ pork. Both were excellent, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. For our main courses, we sampled a variety of dumplings and the Mongolian beef. Each dish was delicious, showcasing the restaurant's attention to detail and quality ingredients. The service was very good--attentive without being over the top. Our server was always there when we needed anything but never hovered, which made for a pleasant dining experience. A word of advice: make sure to book a reservation. Teddy Wong's is quite popular, and we learned this the hard way when we attempted a walk-in a week prior and faced a two-hour wait. Also, be prepared for parking challenges. Their lot is small, but fortunately, there's plenty of street parking nearby. Overall, our dinner at Teddy Wong's was a delight, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

I've only been once and am already In love. When moving to the area I was nervous about finding good Chinese but Teddy Wong made me a believer. Everything we had except the rice was a 10/10 Best shrimp Balls & Crab Rangoon I've had in a very long time. + our server was super knowledgeable about wine and suggested a really great bottle that paired well. I'll be back!

First things first make a reservation. Even though we got there before the rush almost all the tables were reserved. They were able to squeeze us in though so that was a plus. The food was good. We had the scallion pancakes, vegetable during, string beans, and the Kung Pao Shrimp. We had ordered one more dumpling dish but they forgot to put that order in. It ended up being just fine though because we were full by the end. The staff was overall attentive and the food was good. I'd come back with a reservation to ensure seating next time.
